Hotel Bookings

We recommend moving quickly on booking your hotel rooms, as they will fill up quickly (it is a very popular weekend!), and we want to make sure that our out of town guests have enough space!  

Our 'after party' will be taking place at the Hilton Garden Inn, but the Marriott hotel is just a short drive away (~3 minutes), so if your loyalty is with Marriott, don't hesitate to stay there!


Transportation

We will have a shuttle running between the Hilton and the venue, with two trips to the ceremony (one approximately at 3:45 and one at approximately 4:15).  We will have two trips back to the hotel in the evening, with an earlier shuttle for those who have already danced their feet off - or a later one for those who plan to stay the whole time!


Details of the Location

Our gorgeous venue will be allowing us to get married outside, (weather permitting) under a beautiful Oak tree on their front lawn.  Should there be unfortunate weather, there will be a fully set up series of tents for both the ceremony and reception that will keep you from getting wet!

That being said, the venue is primarily considered an 'outside' venue.  The tents (barring rain) will be open. As the wedding will be taking place towards the end of May, it likely will not get too chilly - but we recommend bringing a light jacket in case the temperature dips when the sun goes down.

Sunglasses may also not be a bad idea - as we will be so close to the pinnacle of summer, the sun will (hopefully!) be out for most of the ceremony.
